Manitoba Immigration Draw 33 Released: 443 Invitations Issued for Manitoba Immigration

Manitoba being the leading provinces of Canada has got its own Immigration system, i.e. MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program) which lets immigrants migrate from around the globe on a point based system.

The latest draw was released on 15th of Aug 2017.The program issued around 443 invitations to applicants who had submitted their Expression of Interest for Manitoba Immigration. Of these 443 invitations, 401 were issued to the skilled workers already working in Manitoba. The remaining number of letters of Advice issued were to 42 applicants who were overseas skilled workers under Manitoba PNP Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The minimum ranking score needed for the Manitoba immigration is kept at 719 for overseas workers and 585 for the Manitoba skilled workers.This is Draw 33 for 2017.

Ranking for the eligible applicants was based on the Manitoba Points System that gives up to 1000 points to each applicant.

In the latest Manitoba draw 33, some of the professions were not included such as –

  • Registered nurses
  • Secondary and elementary school teachers
  • University professors
  • General and specialist physicians
  • Vocational and College Instructors

Moreover, the draw instructed the aspiring candidates to ensure that their expression of interests is fully updated with the latest information.

According to the state if a candidate who is selected in the latest draw cannot prove his EOI eligibility then his application will be subjected to termination.

Skilled workers in Manitoba

The program, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, is designed for International skilled workers and overseas graduates who are at present working in Manitoba and holds a permanent, full-time employment offer from their Manitoba employer.

Skilled Worker Overseas

The program, Skilled Worker overseas, is designed to select eligible candidates on the basis of a points-based assessment system, who are not a resident of Canada. Applicants will be accepted for permanent residency visa in case they are having connections in the province – Manitoba Support (family or friends in Manitoba), academic or work experience in the province – Manitoba Experience, or Invitation certificate given under MPNP
