As per the new updation issued by the Canadian government dated 25th July 2018, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score has been dropped to 441 from 442 under the Canada Express Entry. For this reason Canadian government issued 3750 invitations to apply for Canadian Permanent Residency in a new express entry draw held on 25th July 2018 which in turn brought July total to 7500. This has made this July by far the best one in terms of Invitation to Apply (ITA) since the Express Entry was introduced in 2015.
The tie break date and time being referred to under this new score reduction is 31st December 2017 at 12:14:21 UTC. Under this the candidates who received score equal to or greater than 441 and had submitted their profiles before the specified date and time, received Invitation to Apply (ITA) in this round.
Till now in 2018 Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has given out 47200 Invitation to Apply (ITA) and target set for this year is 74900 and for the next year i.e. 2019 it is 81400. In order to achieve the target if Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) do not resort to larger or frequent draws then it could result in further reduction of Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score. The issuing of Invitation to Apply (ITA) has seen an upward flow in this year and the trend will continue this year till the target is not achieved.
